The idea...
It's a new era of Australian Dressage. We're breeding to the absolute premier bloodlines in the world, our riders are training with Olympians and world champions, and our successes in the international competition arena are starting to look very impressive. It's not only the elite band of riders who are part of this new era, it's all of us who are passionate about our sport of Dressage.

OntheBit.com.au serves to reflect, nurture and stimulate the changing Australian Dressage culture. The website provides local and international news, stories of motivation, horse management, competition strategy and has a very strong focus on bringing an elite standard of training to the homes of every Dressage rider through online videos and training feature articles. It focuses on all successes and techniques of Australian Dressage, not only the usual select few who you read about time and time again.

The events...
A Day of Dressage is a series of masterclass events run by the OntheBit team. These events aim to compliment Australian training by bringing out top level international trainers and riders to conduct a day long event. To experience A Day of Dressage is to learn practical techniques, to find inspiration in watching the beauty of top level riding, to be entertained with dressage performance and to gain a rare insight into the philosophies of and motivations behind the worlds leading riders.

The humans...
We are young, passionate and dedicated Australian dressage riders. We are lucky that everyday we ride and train our horses together and inevitably end up having lengthy discussions in the stables about how our horses went that day, what we could do better, how the comps went on the weekend, what coaching we are getting that week, and before we know it many hours have floated by! As dressage riders we all love to do this, to talk about our sport and our passion.

We've worked very hard to develop the OntheBit concept with the website and the events because we believe that we can open up a larger discussion around the country about dressage training and culture and we can learn and share stories in a really inclusive online format that everyone can interact with and enjoy.
