Aussies in Aachen
An open message of thanks from Lyndal, Hayley and Brett in Aachen!
G'day Mates, or should we say Guten Tag!
Tonight marks the eve of Team Australia's performance here in Aachen.
So far things are progressing very well for us all-the horses are fit and breezed through the trot up and we are having a blast with all our fellow Aussies who have come so far to watch and support us. Sam, Pot and Reli all went through their paces well today, not effected by the heat or the large storm that hit this afternoons CDI, delaying the competition for an hour and smashing the arena while Elvis began his test!
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the CDIO. Lyndal leads the charge in the morning, hoping to soften the judges a little, followed by Hayley to crank things up while Brett brings the team home with the final blow. Together we have a great team spirit and are having a great time together. Clip my horse will be covering all the action if you wish to follow the day!
We are all very appreciative of all the support we are receiving, both here at Aachen and from home. Thank you to all our support crews- without you we would not be here. We have all received many messages sending us good luck, and have had the phone passed around to talk to people from home wishing us all luck. Thank you to all!!!!
Fingers crossed and GO AUSSIES GO!!!

The privilege of training a young horse can be likened to the artist with a blank canvas, it all begins with only brush strokes until an image begins to appear.

Motivation often sounds like a lot of pressure - "I must" or "I should", but really it is about you creating a mindset of "I really want" or "I get to".

When we hope for change or improvement coming from something (or someone) external to us, we set ourselves up for frustration and failure.
