In this short preview of Sugar Boy II he is being schooled in preparation to begin his small tour career early this year.
Sugar Boy II is an 7 year old Oldenburg gelding. He is still very young and Monica and I focus very much on fitness and muscular development of the horse so as to improve balance, suppleness, impulsion and collection that are required for the ligher levels of Dressage riding and competition.
In this short clip you will see the development of the half passes in trot and canter, the beginning of stronger and more balanced flying changes as well as the relaxation and suppleness that still exists with a horse who is training for FEI level.
